A beautiful and heart-wrenching tribute to one of the most beautiful oceans in the world, and the devastation that one company can wreak upon it.
I could not get a smaller version of this, so if you want to view it full screen, please visit this link:

The sorrow of this is unspeakable. It fills me with so much rage. The evil greed and stupidity of a corporation causing such unbearable suffering and the death of so much beauty and life holds a message of dire warning to all of us.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the best blogs on the tragedy. I thank you once again for the work you do on this. The only possible good I can see coming out of this MAN MADE DISASTER is that we wake up and demand changes. You have certainly pushed me in the right direction in terms of what ordinary people can do. Unfortunately the cost of this wake up call has been unimaginably heartbreaking for so many. Granny J
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this video. I hope you don't mind, but I posted it on my blog and on my Facebook Page. It is heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteIt seems the ocean floor is giving way.
ReplyDeleteThe BOP has sunk. Numerous updates here.

The BOP has not sunk. It is still upright, albeit listing to one side.
ReplyDeleteThis video is breathtaking, and not in a good way, but I fear that we will see many more like this before all is said and done in the Gulf.
ReplyDeleteI weep for all that is being lost with this disaster. It may be decades before we discover the true depth of what has been lost to all of us.
Beautifully done, hard to watch. Necessary. In the future, during elections, I would like that video coupled with all of the Drill, Baby Drill chants as an anti-Palin, or anti anyone who laments that we should keep offshore drilling. Thanks Eye.
