Palin Once Again Uses her Children

Recently the comedy show "Family Guy" did a comedy bit that referenced Sarah Palin, which you can view below.

Now, this was bait for a reaction from Sarah to be sure. Why? Because Sarah has already proven her hypocrisy by posting a full on rant demanding Rahm Emmanuel, chief of staff of the White House be fired for his closed door comment last August, calling a plan by the Democrats "fucking retarded". He did not call anyone a retard, in fact he was calling the plan that they were talking about retarded.

Shortly after this was made public, Mr Emmanuel apologized, and true to form, Rush Limpdick went whole hog onto the airwaves stating he was going to call "fucking retards, retards" and he was not going to apologize for it.

When called for comment (you'll notice that someone actually had to make contact with Sarah before hearing anything about Rush using the word "retarded") Sarah, via spokesmouth Meg Stapleton stated that any use of the word was improper. Now, it shouldn't take me pointing it out that Sarah did not write a full on rant about Rush unapologetically calling people retards. She did not even personally chastise him, instead she later defended his use of it calling it satire.

Just so we are clear, according to the Sarah Palin thought process....Rahm calling a plan retarded ...bad! Rush calling people retards...satire!

So, bearing all that in mind, we come to the Family Guy episode. It was not that funny, but I have never been a huge fan of the show. I like some of the episodes, others not so much. I think that it mainly will depend on the mood I am in, but I recognize that it is a comedy show, built on pushing the envelope, just like South Park does. Neither show bothers me, I don't get angry at what they show even if it is something I don't like. Comedy is subjective. I've never been a fan of the Three Stooges either, but that doesn't mean that I don't recognize the work they do, and the enjoyment they give many others.

So, now people have been waiting for Sarah to react to this Fox Show "Family Guy" and see if she would take the bait or just allow it to pass by without comment. True to form, she could not just ignore it.

Fox Hollywood – What a Disappointment

People are asking me to comment on yesterday’s Fox show that felt like another kick in the gut. Bristol was one who asked what I thought of the show that mocked her baby brother, Trig (and/or others with special needs), in an episode yesterday. Instead of answering, I asked her what she thought. Here is her conscientious reply, which is a much more restrained and gracious statement than I want to make about an issue that begs the question, “when is enough, enough?”:

“When you’re the son or daughter of a public figure, you have to develop thick skin. My siblings and I all have that, but insults directed at our youngest brother hurt too much for us to remain silent. People with special needs face challenges that many of us will never confront, and yet they are some of the kindest and most loving people you’ll ever meet. Their lives are difficult enough as it is, so why would anyone want to make their lives more difficult by mocking them? As a culture, shouldn’t we be more compassionate to innocent people – especially those who are less fortunate? Shouldn’t we be willing to say that some things just are not funny? Are there any limits to what some people will do or say in regards to my little brother or others in the special needs community? If the writers of a particularly pathetic cartoon show thought they were being clever in mocking my brother and my family yesterday, they failed. All they proved is that they’re heartless jerks. - Bristol Palin”

Why does it feel like a kick in the gut to you Sarah, it is because you know that it was you who was being made fun of rather than Trig like you claim? Just like it is always directed at you and not your son, but instead of acknowledging that fact, you again use your child in an attempt to avoid looking like the fool we all know you are by being upset about being made fun of, instead you deflect that onto your children. You are a sick and deluded person who has no business having children since you are incapable of understanding that being a mother means protecting them at all costs instead of pushing them into the spotlight to absorb all the jabs aimed at you.

So instead of coming out and proving she is the hypocrite we all know she is, she instead has her daughter do it for her. So she proves not only to be a hypocrite, but also one who will willingly use her children, all of them, any of them that happen to be in front of her at the moment, again and again and again.

This is a COMEDY SHOW and as such it is much different than Rush Limpdick going onto the radiowaves calling people retards (which by the way, was not satire, in any way, shape or form).

This is hardly a surprising reaction from her, and it is even less surprising that she doesn't have the balls enough to stand up and make this statement herself, instead once again using one of her children to take the brunt of the reaction. It is even less surprising that it is Bristol who is the one stepping up to the plate to show everyone that she is truly mommy's little protégé, and is happily and willingly ready to step into mommy's naughty monkeys. (Boy Levi did you ever luck out by not getting married to this one....yikes is all I can say about what you might have been subjected to for the rest of your life, married to a mini Sarah).
