Basic Breakdown of SarahPAC Disbursments for the Second Reporting Period, Starting July 1, 2009 and Ending December 31, 2009

After giving this even the briefest of glances, I knew without question that it should be broken down and made easier to understand and access information. I noticed right away that there were a few dates that should have been on the last report filed and not on this one, as well as the ever increasing amount of money being paid out to people or companies labeled as “consultants”, which struck me as odd considering that the PAC had not undergone any major transformations, and Sarah Palin did not seem to be doing much more than traveling around on her book tour doing a lot of self promotion and little else besides having someone write her book for her along with her face book postings or ‘notes’. So I sat down the other night and decided I would go through and break it down.

I have copied everything exactly as it is listed on the form. If there is no explanation given, that is because the field was left blank on the form.

$24,000.00 for 4 months work is not bad, especially considering that we rarely heard anything from Pamela. Meghan Stapleton is the one who usually issued statements on behalf of both Sarah and the PAC.
So October is the last payment showing for Pamela. She was said to be the current PAC spokesperson, but she just doesn’t show up anymore after the end of October as far as payments, so that leaves us with a couple of questions. Did Pamela quit? Was she fired? Was her paycheck just not reported after October? Is she still in the employ of Sarah PAC? We don’t know. We have not been told officially that she is no longer the PAC spokesperson, but one would think that if she stopped being paid then she is no longer doing the job, and if that is the case why has no one mentioned it or reported on her replacement.

In my opinion, Timothy seems to be doing a lot more than just being the PAC treasurer considering he is doing the catering, and fundraising/consulting as well. He seems to be well paid for it as well.

If you pay attention to the dates, then it suggests that nearly every week a large chunk of money was being paid to EDONATIONS for their internet/credit card system which allowed the PAC to process donations via credit cards from donors But the donations seem to drop towards the end of the year, and dramatically in November and December, since only two payments were made in each of these months vs. at least 4 in the previous months, unless the payments to this company was neglected to be reported.

Why is Sarah’s personal lawyer being paid for by the PAC for legal services and not to mention $10,000.00 worth of legal expenses for a single month when the PAC already has legal representation?

This wouldn’t happen to have anything to do with Bristol’s custody fight with Levi would it? The first round of paperwork was issued by Bristol and Van Flein (who is now not only Sarah’s personal lawyer, but the PAC’s and Bristol’s attorney for her custody suit too) was issued on 11/04/2009

July 1, 2009, that was 2 days before Sarah quit her job as Governor correct? Todd was away fishing because he had to rush back and be by her side while she gave her "I Quit Speech" right?

So who was spending 2500+ dollars at this place, located in Jersey’s North Shore, and how is this a legitimate PAC expense? It wasn’t Sarah was it? Wasn’t she in Alaska? If it was an expense that was racked up by one of her numerous “consultants” wouldn’t they be expected to pay for this out of their own money? There is no explanation as to what it is for.

Why is Meg getting additional expenses above and beyond what is paid to her via her consulting company, especially with one entry listing no additional information besides “expenses”??

So we know from this that Sarah has got herself a team in place, what with previous McCain Staffers, a lawyer from the Thomas More Law Group, plus a couple of bloggers so does this mean that she is setting herself up for a run at the White House?

I'd suggest that before she consider that, she might want to take a gander at the information that is coming out from the release of those emails.

As for the PAC expenses, it sure seems like a lot of money is coming in and a lot is going out with nothing to show for it. They claim that they have done no fundraising, but that is an awful lot of expense for no fundraising.

There is a lot to digest and understand about these expenses. If the PAC claims that they are not doing any fundraising, but have all these expenses to date, I cannot imagine how they are going to survive when they are forced to actively spend money to make money for themselves. They will have no money left to pay each other nor to donate to worthy causes.

That much has been widely reported since September 2008, when a college student broke into her Yahoo account, revealing messages sent and received by Palin regarding state business. The reasons behind this practice have never been fully explained by the former governor

E-mails written by Palin in the early months of her term show that she wished to keep some state matters out of the public eye by using her own personal e-mail account. Printed copies of the e-mails were provided to Alaska Dispatch by a source, who wished to remain anonymous, as an example of Palin's practice of conducting state business on her personal account


Earlier e-mails sent during the second month of the Palin administration show then-Gov. Palin discussing state business on her personal Yahoo account. Among the examples:
-- A Jan. 13, 2007, e-mail Palin sent to then-Chief of Staff Mike Tibbles' personal account (and copied to others in her inner circle) discussing candidates for various state jobs. "I know Ryan Colgan bugs folks," Palin wrote, "but he is supportive and wants a job so he can help. Why not find a spot for him somewhere in the 17,000 state employee group?" She went on to criticize Ron Miller, who had headed the Alaska Industrial Export and Development Authority under Gov. Frank Murkowski: "Ron Miller and others who made very poor decisions must be replaced with more sensible Alaskans who will not squander public funds. My discussions with Andrew (Halcro) sure has convinced me (as I was convinced after 10 months on the trail with him) that he agrees with me that we MUST clean up state government." Halcro ran against Palin in the 2006 gubernatorial election as an independent. Weeks after this e-mail, he and Palin had a falling out and Halcro began criticizing the governor on his blog, eventually breaking the so-called Troopergate scandal that embroiled Palin as she leaped to the national stage in late summer 2008.
-- A Jan. 28, 2007, e-mail from Palin's personal account went out to a list of high-level staff and commissioners' state e-mails encouraging them to speak freely to the press. The note was in response to an item in the Anchorage Daily News' Alaska Ear about whether members of her administration were banned from speaking to the media. "I have NEVER banned any of our team members from voicing opinions on anything," she told her commissioners and others.
-- On Jan. 30, 2007, Palin sent an e-mail from her Yahoo account to several of her advisors' personal accounts to discuss candidates for Fish and Game Board appointments, including one candidate who she described as a "strange dude" who "sounds pretty crazy."
Members of Palin's inner circle copied on the e-mails in question were unavailable for comment or opted not to comment

The proof is adding up that Sarah Palin is no different than any other corrupt politician who speaks out of both sides of their mouths. They say one thing and turn around and do another. The fact that there are so many falling for her folks "just like the little guy" line is even funnier as it shows how willing people are to be sold a set of fake goods if the line sounds believable enough.

I will be keeping a watch for Part II of this story, and for all we know there may be parts III, IV, V and more. It would not surprise me as the more we learn about Sarah Palin and who & what she truly is, versus who and what she presents herself to be, the more we must ask, why are we so receptive to being deceived by such charlatan's?

Understanding Sarah Palin's History & Claims

There has been a lot of talk about Sarah Palins' office on the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission as if it gave her some expertise in the area of "energy". Let's get to the truth of the matter.

Sarah Palin was given the position of "Public Officer" on the AOGCC in February of 2003. Her office was that of a commissioner, but she was the "Ethics Supervisor". She held that office until she quit on January 23, 2004, so she did not even last a full year on the job.

For a good explanation of what she did while on the job, the Anchorage Daily News did an article on 11/19/2004 (it was later reprinted) titled:

Palin explains her actions in Ruedrich case

One excerpt from the article is as follows:

It was a far cry from the job she expected in February 2003 when she became the "public member" of the AOGCC -- the seat reserved under Alaska law for a nontechnical commissioner. Murkowski appointed Ruedrich as the petroleum engineer commissioner, while Dan Seamount, a holdover from the Knowles administration with experience in the coal bed methane industry of the Rocky Mountain West, was the geologist commissioner.

The commission and its 21 staff members usually labor in obscurity unless they are responding to a serious oil-well accident or violation. Founded in territorial days and modeled after commissions in other oil states, the AOGCC is a regulatory board charged with protecting public resources when oil or gas is developed.

The AOGCC has three basic functions: to ensure that producing oil and gas fields achieve maximum recovery; to ensure that wells are safely constructed and operated; and to protect groundwater when oil and gas wells pass through aquifers or when drilling wastes are legally disposed underground.

The commission's structure has been relatively unchanged since 1978, when it was split from the Department of Natural Resources at the start of Prudhoe Bay production to insulate it from the pressures of the agency that's supposed to promote development, according to the AOGCC's official history.

It also goes on to state that;

But though she carried the title "ethics supervisor" over the AOGCC and chaired the commission, she said she had little authority over the other two commissioners, who serve six-year terms and can only be fired for cause.


So I am truly curious how she, or anyone can claim that her time on the Commission somehow gives her experience on "energy", considering the article seems to imply that she spent most of her time dealing with ethical issues that had nothing to do with "energy", but with the ethical lapses of Randy Ruedrich, and trying to get that dealt with, not to mention the fact that she did not even stay in the job for a full year.

This is just but one example of how a title seems to be used to give credence to a claim that has no merit behind it.

Another is the statement that Sarah Palin was former Chairperson of the Interstate Oil & Gas Compact Commission.

She served in that position for one year. Based on the bylaws:

Article IVOfficers
Section 1. The officers of the Commission are a chairman, a vice-chairman and a second vice-chairman. The chairman must be a Member State governor and the vice chairman and second vice chairmen must be official representatives designated pursuant to Article I, Section 2 of these by-laws. A Chairman-elect for a following year may be designated. All officers shall be elected at each Midyear Meeting to take office during the next Annual Meeting and shall serve until their successors have been elected and assume office. The Nominating Committee shall determine the list of candidates for the elective office and submit all names for the offices to the Commission at the earliest possible time.
Section 2. In the event a vacancy exists in the chairmanship after the election of a chairman-elect at the Midyear Meeting, and before the succeeding Annual Meeting, the chairman-elect shall assume the office of chairman for the remainder of the predecessor's term. Should a vacancy occur after the Annual Meeting, the chairman-elect for the following year shall become chairman. If the offices of vice-chairman, second vice-chairman, vice-chairman-elect or second vice-chairman-elect become vacant, the Commission shall elect a successor at the next regular or other meeting. The Nominating Committee shall submit nominees to the respective governors, official state representatives and alternates at the earliest possible time.
Section 3. An officer shall preside at all meetings, and otherwise perform the duties customarily performed by the chairman of a deliberative body.


Article #4 of Bylaws

The Commission itself has a new chairperson every year, with Gov. Rick Perry being the 2010 Chairperson. The list of past & present Chairman is available here.

So again, another title used to bolster credentials that she does not seem to merit having as there is no known history showing she has every taken part in learning about the ins and outs of the Oil & Gas Industry, or about "Energy" either. Her past knowledge seems to stem from living in a state where Oil & Gas is a large part of their income, but does she have any depth of knowledge on the subject? Titles are one thing, but Mike Huckabee was Chair of the IOGCC as well, and so was AK Gov. Tony Knowles, who was Chairman of the IOGCC for two years in a row, and I have not heard either of them being touted as "Energy Experts".

It does provide some food for thought as to the true qualifications she claims to have vs what she actually has for qualifications based on something more than simply a title.

Yes, you guessed it, she's gone and done it again. Sarah Palin has said she is a "Birther".

You know what a birther is don't you?

One of those folks, like Orly Taitz, who suggests that President Obama was not born in the United States, and by default is unable to be elected President. They demand to see his birth certificate, even though it has been repeatedly proven that he has in fact shown his birth certificate, doing so in fact as late as June of this year to once again put to rest the rumors that he was not born in this country.


Sarah was interviewed on Rusty Humphries radio show and this is what was said:

"Would you make the birth certificate an issue if you ran?" she was asked
(around 9 minutes into the video above).

"I think the public rightfully is still making it an issue. I don't have a problem with that. I don't know if I would have to bother to make it an issue, because I think that members of the electorate still want answers," she replied.

"Do you think it's a fair question to be looking at?" Humphries persisted.

"I think it's a fair question, just like I think past association and past voting records -- all of that is fair game," Palin said. "The McCain-Palin campaign didn't do a good
enough job in that area."

Today, Sarah is backtracking on her statement. On her facebook posting in response to the media latching onto her comments and calling her a "birther", she has replied with this:

She's not going to second guess the electorate's right to ask questions.By comparing it to Trig Trutherism, Governor Palin hinted at how seriously she takes the "birth certificate issue" regardless of whether it is fair game or not. However, this won't stop some from seizing any opportunity to attack Governor Palin.As her opponents continue to make things up, we'll continue to set the record straight.

C4P Misrepresenting what was said in order to defend Sarah


It is important to point out that there is a serious flaw in the reasoning going on here. First and foremost, Sarah did not state she did not believe in the "birther" issue as she is claiming now. She said she didn't know if she would have to bother making it an issue & the public is rightfully making it an issue.
That is not the same thing as saying she doesn't believe it is an issue, or as some in the C4P land of alternate reality suggest that she is putting in the same catagory as the "trig truther" issue. In fact she claims she did provide evidence that Trig is her son, so she has opened the door for those who suggest he is not her son, for she has not offered proof of anything except her word that Trig is indeed her natural child. Sarah stated quite clearly that the "public is still rightfully making it an issue", which says she believes it is an issue, and that the public is right to bring it to everyones attention. Really Sarah?

She backtracks on her facebook page and claims that it is only conspiracy minded reporters and people who are questioning this issue, but that isn't what she said at the time. Me thinks someone within her camp slapped her upside the head and told her that she should never have gone that far in her statements and now she is yet again being forced to backtrack on something she said. Her fans will continue to twist things in order to defend her, that is no surprise whatsoever, as I have said repeatedly they worship the ground she walks on and in their eyes she can do no wrong, she makes no mistakes..it is only everyone else who misunderstands her and misrepresents what she is saying, even though you show what she said, and offer it with no edits, she has still been misunderstood in their viewpoint if it happens to show her in a bad light!

Sarah brought this upon herself and it shows us why indeed the McCain staffers sought to keep her from speaking to reporters whenever she felt like as it is obvious she will blurt out her true feelings on matters and that would leave a great many more people questioning her sanity.


It is also important to point out that Sarah as now admitted that she thinks past associations and voting records are fair game as well.
This from the woman who wanted McCain staffers to lie about her husbands involvement in the AIP and her close association with its members, its goals and ideals.

Sarah you have opened a door that will now bring you more headaches than you can imagine and I am looking forward to more claims of the victim status from you as it should be more entertaining than I can put into words.

Sarah says: working through college without loans "no big deal".

Sure they are “no big deal” if you are doing a community college and are planning on taking your time getting through college, and are able to find a job to not only pay your college bills but also pay enough to allow you to live while going through college.

Palin says never thought taking 5 yrs to get a 4-yr degree would be an issue until the "lame-stream" media took issue with it.

It may not have been an issue if you didn’t use that “degree” to attempt to bolster your supposed credentials for why you were more qualified than most to be given the VP slot.

Obviously since you grew up in small town east bumfuck Alaska, that would be quite a way aways from D.C & Wall Street.

This is a world with more than just us in it and we need to work together with these people and NOT act like we are the end all be all to greatness. Well, I'm not sure what to say other than it was a typical Sarah speech. Shooting off her shotgun of blame so it scatters everywhere, whining and saying she isn't, and just the pot shots at President Obama, along with calling it the "lamestream media" shows just how immature she is emotionally.

It is amazing people continue to pay to hear this. Listen to one speech, read her book and you will never need to pay to hear another word she says because it will always be a variation on the exact same things.
